1. General Information 

At Wax and Looms sustainability is the core of our business thus our operations are designed to minimise waste. Our mode of operation relies on two approaches; we maintain a minimum stock and also make to order.  We strive to replenish stock as soon as it is purchased however, in the event that a product is not readily available due, the “made to order” option can be used.

For the release of new products we use pre-orders as a way of giving clients the opportunity to be amongst the first to access our new products. In addition we use pre-orders to determine which products are in most demand to prevent over production and waste for the good of people and the planet.

We kindly urge our clients to support our sustainability approach by pre- ordering our new products and also patronize our products in stock and those made on order.

The availability of each product is indicated on our website and we ensure the delivery of purchases in the stipulated time indicated in our delivery times.

2. Delivery Location 

Items offered on our website are available for delivery in Mauritius as well as international customers who are shipping to addresses globally with our logistics provider DHL. Any shipments to Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria and Ukraine are not available at this time. 

3. Delivery Time 

An estimated delivery time will be provided to you once your order is placed. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. 

When in stock, we make every effort to fulfil your order within 3 business within Mauritius and 10 - 14 days for international orders.

When made on order, deliveries within Mauritius will take 2 - 3 weeks with international orders taking between 3 - 4 weeks upon order confirmation.

For pre-orders, you will be notified of estimated delivery date when your purchase is ready to be shipped upon its release in accordance to our pre-order policy (information on pre-orders can be found on the product page of products available for pre-orders)

Business days mean Monday to Friday, except holidays. Please note we do not ship on Sundays. Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments. 

4. Delivery Instructions 

You can provide special delivery instructions on the check-out page of our website.

5. Shipping Costs 

Shipping costs are based on the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your cart, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping charges will be displayed. Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for large or heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page. 

Customs duty and taxes may be applicable depending on your country. If applicable this cost is payable by you.
